Danfoss HBC is searching for a new colleague who will be responsible for development of mechanical components. The position is part of division Heating Solutions (HS) and business unit Hydronic Balancing and Control (HBC). If you take the challenge you will be responsible for: •Technology lead in mechanic concepts development and integration of future roadmaps •Technical signoff and responsible for the gear actuator technology in our products •Managing technical aspects regarding our strategic partners of mechanical concepts/solutions development •Ensuring effective interface to strategic partners related to core mechanical actuator components (electrical motors, plastics, casting) •Responsible for effective technical product specification and qualification •Responsible for lifetime analysis and drive train design of our actuators •Ensuring product competiveness by mastering Design to Cost and conducting value driven approach with internal and external partners •Actively pursue new technologies and/or patents. •In corporation with international research centers to transform basic research results to value added and proven technology Your key tasks will be: •Master design and development of gear actuator products •Direct activities of multiple internal and external partners with responsibility to meet broad general objectives •Drive and participate in internal and external design reviews •Identify product requirement and work with the engineering team in execution •Advise other engineers, managers, executives and customers Our expectations from candidates: •Minimum University degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics, Master Sc or PhD is advantage •5 years in R&D environment including technical lead •Track record in driving mechanic development projects •Communicates detailed information logically and clearly •English language proficiency Additional requirements will be an advantage: •Good understanding of hydronic or thermal systems •Drive train competences •Product certification knowledge •Value driven development approach •Personal integrity in all interactions •Ability to manage sourcing partners •Willingness to travel We offer you: •Work with products and projects within leading company on the market in this field •Wide possibilities for personal and professional development •Global contacts inside and outside the company •Dynamic working environment •Dedicated employees who work in teams and share their knowledge For more information regarding responsibilities and expectations please contact Claus Thybo, Director Product Portfolio - Commercial, via +45 2148 9056, or Peter Žilnik, Project Office Manager, via +386 31 325 053.
