About the position

We are looking for an experienced Chief Officer for Product and Solution Security (CPSSO) within the SGRE Corporate Technology (CT) Software Department. Cybersecurity is an important topic for SGRE and our products as well as our solutions. As CPSSO you will be a forming member of a broad cybersecurity community in SGRE.

The CPSSO actively drives Product & Solution Security in the CT organization. As competence reference she/he advises the sr. management, product management, project management and technology heads with regards to security for all SGRE products and solutions.
The CPSSO leads a team of Product and Solutions Security Officers (PSSO) at different development sites around the world in order to govern and continuously improve the product and solution security framework and process landscape based on a consistent strategy and implementation road map.

What are my responsibilities in this position?

  • Coordinate and steer technical direction for product and solution security mechanisms.
  • Coordinate companywide spanning incident & vulnerability handling activities and processes.
  • Represent SGRE with respect to the PSS in related international communities.
  • Represent CTO in all product, solution and service security matters.
  • Establish an internal BU-spanning network and maintain internal PSS community.
  • Ensure a coordinated communication of SGRE marketing and sales in line with Corporate Communications and PSS communication concept.
  • Establish network to dedicated external partners.
  • Synchronize adequately with SGRE Information Security organization to ensure that the IT-infrastructure (e.g. development suite, sources, manufacturing) is sufficiently secure.
  • Track the status of adherence and application of product and solution security standards, processes and policies as well as the implementation policy of SGRE.
  • Report to the Head of CT and escalate/inform in case of emergencies.
  • Identify best practices and derive companywide technical standards, processes & policies, for which an overall governance or guidance is in the business interest of SGRE.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • You have a degree in computer science, IT security, electronics or related fields.
  • You have profound experiences in IT security, acting in similar positions for several years.
  • You have experience within project management, software development lifecycle and process design.
  • You are familiar with software design principles and software architecture.
  • You have a good analytical skills and act structured in a result- and quality-oriented manner.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment with good cooperation and communication skills.
  • You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing.
