Clean Utilities leader to new insulin filling lines

- Production - Denmark - Hillerød The number of people with diabetes is increasing dramatically. Therefore, Novo Nordisk has initiated an exciting project to investigate the possibilities to expand production in Hillerød. The project will have a high degree of complexity with lots of cross organizational and global cooperation. To succeed with this ambitious project we need people with a pioneer spirit who like to build something completely new, have a high engagement level and thrive in a constant changing environment. About the department You will be the one starting up this new area in our project and can look forward to collaborating with a highly dedicated project team. You will be accountable for implementing and setting up the team for all clean steam to the factory and maintenance activities related to clean stream. You will also be responsible for other utility systems and general site maintenance plus all calibration activities across the project and future site, CIP/SIP and WFI. The clean utilities department will consist of five employees within each responsibility area. We expect that the team will grow to 20 people in the coming years. The job You will be the team leader for the clean utilities team and report to the Project Vice President for the project. Together with your team you will be responsible for the entire implementation of clean utilities purchasing, installation, validation, manning, ramp up and regulatory approvals. You and your team will work closely together with the vendors, the engineering partner and the other teams in the project. Your first task will be to hire 2-4 academics for your team. Qualifications You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or similar and have solid experience from the pharmaceutical industry, ideally an international setting. You have experience with management either as a team leader or as a project manager on complex projects. We expect that you have good leadership skills, that you can get the team to follow you and that you enjoy developing people. Experience with aseptic production will be an advantage. Your experience as people manager has taught you how to pass on your own passion to your team in an involving and appreciative way. High-quality is a trademark for you, you have credibility, you can make yourself understood and are able to realise your decisions. Finally, you must thrive in an environment where ongoing changes are a part of our business’ development. It is crucial that you are able to network, collaborate and work at a high professional level, both internally and externally.
