Can you take on the role as LEO Pharma’s new specialist in clinical outcome assessments?

If you have a solid background within development and qualification of COA’s you now have the opportunity to take on the challenge and become LEO Pharma’s new specialist within your field of expertise. You will join a team of experienced and highly skilled scientists committed to understand the mechanisms behind skin diseases and how our candidate drugs influence these mechanisms. We have just launched an extremely ambitious 2025 strategy and Medical Sciences is an important part of that strategy. You can look forward to joining LEO in one of the most exciting times in our history.

Your job

You will join an international market leader within dermatology with focus on inflammatory skin diseases. We have a rich project portfolio that covers small molecules and biologics aiming at both topical and systemic treatment solutions. Your overall focus will be to further build and implement Patient Reported Outcomes in all of our clinical projects. Your primary tasks will be to:

• Develop and support PRO measurement strategies within our clinical projects
• Develop and qualify PRO’s as well as supporting the implementation into clinical trials
• Ensure instruments are fit-for-purpose with particular attention to content validity and psychometric properties specific to context of use
• Deliver required documentation for authority (regulatory and health technology assessment) submissions
• Represent our discipline at authority and external KOL interactions
• Contribute to scientific publications

A vital part of the job is also to keep yourself updated with new developments in the field of COA, including relevant regulatory legislation, guidelines and submission principles. It is important to keep appraised with the literature and ensure continued learning.

Your profile

You have worked within the area of clinical outcome assessments, preferably within the pharma industry for at least 5 years. It is an advantage if you have experience from authority interactions on qualification of COA’s. Master’s degree in outcomes research, public health, epidemiology or related discipline.

You must be able to communicate complex information to colleagues across the LEO organisation and to external stakeholders. You thrive on creating results via constructive collaboration.

About the department

As COA Specialist you will be organised in Clinical Pharmacology, which is placed in Medical Science. You will join a well-functioning team of 8 colleagues responsible for COA Strategy, PK, PK/PD, clinical pharmacology trials, biomarker assessment and mode of action understanding of our drugs in all phases of clinical development.
