- Pharmacovigilance - Denmark - Bagsværd We are looking for a Clinical Safety Associate to join the Safety Operations (SO) Case Management II department in a permanent position in DK starting 1st of April 2015. About the Department The SO Case Management II department belongs to Safety Operations, one of the functional areas in Global Safety. Global Safety is responsible for the global handling and reporting of adverse events to authorities, and the surveillance of the safety and quality of Novo Nordisk clinical development and marketed products. In the Case Management department you will be part of a team of 13 highly engaged team members; we are working in a fast-paced environment reflecting the increasing demands from regulatory authorities. We work very dedicated in a positive, proactive and informal working climate based upon trust and commitment. Geographically the department is situated in Bagsværd. The Job As a Clinical Safety Associate you will be responsible for handling serious adverse reactions reported world-wide from Novo Nordisk A/S clinical trials to ensure that global regulatory requirements are met. You will perform data entry in the global safety database Argus, ensure right coding and medical evaluation of each individual case story. Moreover, you will perform necessary assessment of the reported events in order to enable request of missing information. You will furthermore be involved in stakeholder support and various administrative tasks in the department. High workload, continuous improvements, deadlines, cross-functional collaboration and international communication will be a natural part of your workday. Qualifications You have an educational background as a nurse. You are proficient with both written and spoken English. You have flair for using IT systems and you are highly skilled within MS Office, including Excel. Previous experience with pharmacovigilance, study nurse experience and/or experience within the diabetes field and/or cardiovascular field is an advantage. As a person you work in a systematic and structured way. You have focus on details, a high level of Quality Mind-set and a good sense of humour. You are dynamic, dedicated, diligent and flexible, and you demonstrate good communication- and collaboration skills. In general you have a strong operational focus combined with innovative skills in order to continuously improve both the quality and the efficiency of the work.
