For the R&D function at DEIF, we are looking for a CODESYS Framework Software Designer who is passionate about software architecture and embedded C and C++ programming. DEIF is an international group that is specialised in the field of advanced control systems. The job: As a CODESYS Framework Software Designer, you will be part of our Application Framework team that is responsible for architecture and development, and which enables PLC-programming on our advanced engine and genset control products. You thrive on working in a dedicated way with development and maintenance of application framework, debug and integration tests as well as CODESYS framework and function modules. In R&D, we develop embedded software for our engine and genset control products, coded in C++ and ANSI C on, among others, Linux platforms and fieldbus, CAN, TCP/IP, Modbus, IEC61850 MMS and GOOSE. We expect that you have experience with the above programming languages. The products are often included in safety-critical installations, where compliance with safety standards such as IEC61508 is required, and therefore it is an advantage if you already have knowledge of them. The person: We are looking for a person with a high professional standard, who has proved his/her worth in other companies. You must have a sharp eye for the whole picture in development projects, and you must be able to see through complex contexts. You have a professional pride and courage to speak your mind, if you think there may be consequences associated with ideas or decisions throughout the development process. The tasks are to be solved in cooperation with the other experts on our products/solutions, and you know that the key to success is to network with your colleagues across the entire organisation. Educationally, you have a higher IT education as an engineer, computer scientist, or the like. You have solid experience with CODESYS Framework and are on top of the architecture. In addition, it is a requirement that you are well-spoken, in speaking and writing, in Danish and English.
