About the Position

Due to increasing investment in innovation activities, we are searching for a Commercial Head of our Innovation & Products Function in our Service Business Unit. The function is highly market and customer focused, with commercial responsibility for PLM, Global Sales, R&D and Multi-brand/competitor turbine business development activities.

Together with the Functional Head of Innovation & Products, you set the direction, define the strategy and further optimize the organization and its deliverables, i.e.
  

What are my responsibilities?

  • Build up a strong and motivated organization where the working environment and culture has high priority
  • Optimize innovation of our business and focus on delivering the products which are requested by customers – be first mover in new products also before it is requested by our customer
  • Closely collaborate with other commercial and controlling departments in the company
  •  

You recruit, build and lead your dedicated finance & commercial team with the aim to:

  • Secure realistic business case assumptions for optimal decision making for prioritizing business development activities, including the customer business case
  • Ensure transparency in performance and commercial lessons learned in Multi-brand business
  • Project controlling of R&D, time and money spent and related contract management with vendors
  • Excellence in sales related processes, ensuring that the company adhere to guidelines
  • Commercial operational support of the business, and monthly reporting/planning of cost position

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • You are a strong leader with at least 5 years of experience from a commercial role with focus on innovation, business development or similar
  • You are used to working in a global multi-dynamic matrix-organization with high focus on business cases. Alternatively, you have your career in procurement at utilities or wind turbine investors
  • Your past career has provided you a thorough hands-on knowledge of the different disciplines within the financial area, preferably related to sales, innovation or procurement
  • You can quickly establish an overview and decide on next step
  • You are process-oriented with a constant eye for the customer. In general you are highly business oriented
  • You thrive in a multi-facetted work environment where you have to work across different countries, cultures, functions etc. You navigate easily in an atmosphere characterized by a variety of demands, and your approach is diplomatic, though also decisive
  • You are an excellent communicator with fluency in English, orally as well as in writing
