Do you want to be part of defining new service solutions and driving negotiations for our offshore wind farms to support the reduction in cost of electricity? Join us as Commercial Manager in SWA Commercial which is responsible for defining the strategic objectives and specifications for our wind turbine Service & Warranty Agreements and has the business lead in contract negotiation. We drive innovation both internally by challenging the existing contracts and the business and externally by challenging the suppliers and liaising with peers, consultants and the like. SWA Commercial is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in Denmark and Northern Europe in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Commercial Manager, you are responsible for driving service concept development projects in line with the business strategy. Thus, you ensure development of new and improved service concepts and secure implementation of best practice from lessons learned and contractual knowledge for strategic sourcing agreements. You take the lead on tender preparation and negotiation of wind turbine Service & Warranty Agreements as well as facilitate hand-over and advice on implementation of final Service & Warranty Agreements in preparation for service commencement. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •ensure collaboration and alignment with key internal stakeholders, in particular Asset Integrity Management (technical department), Procurement, Legal and Site Management •carry out analyses and projects related to tactical or strategic activities •ensure development, implementation and administration of efficient follow-up and reporting. Your profile You have a commercial education within business administration or economics or a legal background with relevant commercial management experience. In addition, you have experience with business development, project management and possibly contract management, and preferably you have good insight into offshore wind power operation. Moreover, you have a results-oriented approach to your work as well as a solid business understanding and a strategic and analytical mind-set. Experience in contract negotiation is an advantage, and a keen interest in understanding the relations between technical and commercial issues is a prerequisite as you will have strong interaction with our technical department. Finally, you are able to deliver on several complex and high-profile service projects successfully and simultaneously. You speak and write English fluently. As a person, you have an outgoing personality and good networking and communication skills as you will have many stakeholders, internally and externally.
