Tasks & responsibilities: You will...

...will be part of an offshore completion team, with whom you will work closely in getting the WTG from installation, through commissioning and into operation. Our installation team at our WTG location will hand over the tasks to you and your team. You will work with other members of the construction team, in particular the installation team, QA/QC team as well as sub-contractors and client construction teams, overseeing and participating in all commissioning tasks, insuring that all tasks are carried out successfully in a safe and timely manner. You must take the necessary actions in order to comply with MHI Vestas' safety and quality standards.

Your tasks will also include:

• Ensure a safe work practice by acting in compliance with MHI Vestas HSE requirements
• Daily communication with the Deputy Commissioning Manager
• Execute WTG completion and start up
• Troubleshoot, operate and maintain WTGs
• Identify, register and manage deviations
• Maintain turbines and equipment

Skills & experience: Our new colleague...

...has with a technical background, preferably electrician or similar. If you have experience from the wind turbine business, this would be an advantage. You must have focus on Health & Safety Environment (HSE), Quality (QA/QC) and costumer relations. Also, to succeed in this position it is important that you have good process understanding and delegation skills. Since we are an international company, you must possess good English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

It is important that you are a team player and are able to motivate and encourage your team. You are focused on continuous improvement, and you are very result oriented. As a person, you are able to remain calm under pressure, and you are responsible and hard working. You are enthusiastic, flexible and you thrive working in a dynamic environment.
