About the department
MARS Strategic Development (MARS SD) is a staff function in the R&D area called MARS. MARS covers three functional areas; Medical Affairs, Regulatory and Safety. In MARS SD, we are 20 dedicated people responsible for a wide variety of tasks within communication, project management, training as well as data analysis and reporting. We are located in Søborg, but our projects and activities have a global reach and impact across the organisation.

 

The position
As Communication Advisor you will report to the VP of MARS SD and work closely with the Communication Partner in the area. Your key responsibilities will be to deliver high quality internal communication materials such as articles for the Intranet, prepare management presentations, drive and ensure improvements in various internal communication channels and provide strong communication support to management teams, process experts and project managers. You will also act as project manager for internal events, from initial idea to execution. 

You of course have excellent communication skills, love to write engaging texts and prepare compelling presentations that capture the audience. You are expected to bring new and innovative ideas to the table and not be afraid of experimenting with new approaches and technologies. 

As part of the job, you will interact with employees at all levels in the organisation and across the globe, so stakeholder management is a natural part of the way you work. 

The duration of the maternity cover is 12 months.
 

Qualifications

You have a Master’s degree in communication, journalism, business management or similar and have minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience. 

You are ambitious and dedicated, can handle many tasks simultaneously and work independently in a structured way, and you approach tasks with energy and a positive attitude. The job requires a high level of initiative and sense of responsibility for continuous improvements and innovative thinking as well as strong analytical skills. 

Experience with Office 365, SharePoint and social media coupled with interest in new technologies is a plus. Excellent English language skills are a requirement.
