We are a hardworking, loud and very creative team leading the Grundfos group effort on Digital Media – driving initiatives across the areas of Group Communication, Market Communication, and Internal Communications. You refer to Digital Media Manager, Mads Pedersen. ”We are seven colleagues in our team working hard to realise the huge potential of our digital media platforms. Digital communication and social media is on the rise in Grundfos, so we need someone to join our team who has a profound passion for social media to help us create and share all the great stories,” Mads explains. What is the job about? We are building a Social Media Centre of Excellence and need your experience as a highly professional Digital Media Communicator. You will be responsible for creating stories that will make Grundfos stand out on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube WeChat, Weibo and LinkedIn. You communicate across all of our channels with a strong focus on social media. As our Digital Media Communicator, it is your job to help orchestrate and optimise the flow of content across all our digital media platforms. You create original, engaging, and sharable stories that tell the Grundfos story as well as illustrate the content with photos, infographics, and video. You also adapt existing content as well as corporate brand and marketing messages and execute and optimise our content creation. “It will be of great value to you to build up a solid network in the organisation. Being able to network and talk to people will allow you to gain access to the different stories. This ability is not something you can study in a book – you need to have the flair and practical experience to really excel,” Mads says. What do you need to apply? You have an educational background as either a Journalist, cand.comm. or similar combined with a few years of hands-on experience working with social media and in a large organisation, e.g. from an international company or from an agency supporting multiple clients in different countries. Experience from working in a B2B context and a global outlook is a plus. You are a concise and persuasive communicator, have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Danish, and experience writing for a variety of audiences. Staying up to date with trends and best practices, you know how and why best-in-class organisations and companies are succeeding. You possess a good understanding of search engine optimisation and how it shapes the content production process, and you have working knowledge of digital marketing concepts such as content retargeting, paid social, and search engine marketing. “As a person, you are fast-paced and result-oriented. You finish what you start, and you deliver on your commitments. You are responsive and flexible with assigned tasks as well as able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment and help resolve any impasses in creative ways,” Mads finishes.
