Do you understand and have experience with Configuration Management in a large global IT function that utilizes multiple vendors? Are you looking for a chance to use your experience and ideas on developing and implementing a Configuration Management System? We are looking for a highly driven and motivated individual to develop and implement Vestas, Global ITs, Configuration Management System. Finance, Global IT, Operations and Support, Operational Coordination Vestas Global IT is responsible for designing, building and maintaining IT solutions and services in Vestas Wind Systems A/S. Global IT has since 2012 been on a transformation journey where parts of both development and operation have been sourced to different suppliers. The Operational Coordination team is a newly established team with the purpose of integrating and coordinating operation between different suppliers and internal Vestas stakeholders. As a Configuration Manager, you will become vital to the team success by driving the development, implementation and maintenance of a Configuration Management System. Through your professionalism and drive you will lay the foundation for that Global IT from a business impact perspective are able to assess changes, determine release content and impact, faster detect the root cause of incidents, properly assess business impact of incidents and restore services and make sure all is linked to the business needs. Responsibilities: Recommend the configuration strategy and communicate and drive adherence to its principles Produce a configuration framework and design fit for the Service Management model Develop, publish, manage and maintain the use of the Configuration Management process Integrate information from vendors CMDB's into a Vestas Configuration Management System (CMS). Establish the CMS concept as well as build and maintain the CMS Integrate knowledge about Vestas business and operation into the CMS, so business criticality is properly matched all the way from applications, servers and down to infrastructure components. Link the highest level of the CMS to Global IT's offering catalogue to ensure consistency and transparency of the offering Work with Catalogue Management, Portfolio Management and the Services Delivery teams and internal and external vendors to agree and monitor KPIs for Configuration Management Drive improvements in Configuration Management and Configuration data quality with the Service Delivery teams and internal and external vendors incl. ensuring effective configuration feeds Together with Incident Management - ensure that knowledge to assess and determine business impact of incidents is available in the CMS and that incident handling data are collected and linked into the CMS. Together with Problem Management - ensure that knowledge to correctly determine root cause of problems is available and that relevant knowledge from the problem management process is collected and linked into the CMS. Together with change and release management - ensure that knowledge about the business impact of a change and release as well as impact on related systems are available in the CMS. Ensure that the CMS is structured and presented in a user-friendly manner and is accessible for relevant stakeholders Ensure timely and relevant information and communication about the development and use of the CMS. Qualifications: Degree in IT and Business or similar education Must have previous experience with relevant technical fields and work e.g. similar experience form larger global IT organization with management of configurations in a Multi-Vendor environment. Previous experience with Vendor collaboration, Service Delivery Management, and ITIL Process Management. Strong understanding of the set of IT Services provided by a Global IT organisation of Vestas size and the IT infrastructure technologies that supports and enables them (specifically Microsoft and SAP-related infrastructure technologies) Highly IT literate (IT drivers
