Play a part in strengthening the MHI Vestas competitive position

Are you capable of handling the commercial and technical aspects of preparing competitive proposals for offshore windfarm construction projects? Are you an excellent communicator, good at building and maintaining strong relationships with both colleagues and external stakeholders?

You will be based in our Construction Sales department in Operations where you will be dedicated to support the sales organisation and act as subject matter expert in relation to construction-related topics during the sales bidding process.

Tasks & responsibilities: You will...

...handle the commercial and technical aspects of preparing competitive proposals for offshore windfarm construction projects. It will be your responsibility to compile quality bid responses within a tight deadline and ensure effective management of construction risk in the early project stage. Depending on your personal qualifications, you may, after a while, take responsibility for the construction negotiation team ahead of contract signing. Your main tasks as Construction Proposal Manager are focused on developing winning construction proposals, working closely together with internal stakeholders.

Your tasks will include:

• Daily management of the construction proposal supporting the sales organisation
• Review of tender requirements issued by customers
• Configuring the project specific solution and ensure the development of an approved execution budget
• Collecting and issuing of documentation package
• Securing risks are properly managed in accordance with mandate

Skills & experience: Our new colleague...

...has experience with windfarm construction and is motivated to have an early involvement and work with the commercial side of things. You are outgoing and a strong communicator, and you can maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and customers. As a person, you are self-driven and work effectively with high standards.

We expect that you:

• Understand the importance of teamwork and collaboration
• Have a relevant technical degree with some experience in tendering or sales
• You have 5 years of professional experience as a project manager, technical manager or similar position within construction management or logistics
• Are ready to embrace challenges and deliver results in a constant changing environment
