The EMEA TZ is a Domain Aligned organization acting as forefront of delivering innovative solutions in each of the Europe Middle East and Africa countries, leading Enterprise Customers to, and then in, a mobile First, Cloud First world. 

The EMEA TimeZone is organized around 5 technology domains: Business Productivity, Data Insights, Apps, Dynamics, Secure Infrastructure. In particular the Apps Domain leverages on 200 top consulting talents spread across Europe Middle East and Africa. 

As Apps Consultant at Microsoft within the EMEA Apps Domain, you are part of the group with the sharpest minds focusing on building Modern Cloud Solution on the back end and Mobile application running on every kind of devices like Desktops, Laptops, Tablets and Phones on the front end, maximizing use of emerging technologies to transform our clients business to achieve superior value. Your role is to serve customers with your expertise, as a trusted advisor, an invaluable resource in high profile projects for a great solution delivering true value to the customer. You will have the ability to combine your technical skills, creativity with customer focus in order to deliver great solutions to the customers and ensure they get the best out of our technologies and solutions. 

We are looking for someone who is resourceful, confident and is able to work in an exciting, evolutionary work environment while effectively developing superior customer value and satisfaction.

You should also display customer obsession, caring for stakeholder’s satisfaction and knowledge transfer as an integral part of the engagement delivery.

Responsibilities​

As a Microsoft Consultant, you will: 

• Work with customers and delivery partners to help define and deliver leading edge Devices Solutions with a “Cloud First, Mobile First” mindset.
• Act as trusted solution advisor to our clients in varied engagements which could range from a short consulting assignment to a large implementation project.
• Act as technical expert for broad and complex issues.
• Analyze and provide strategic insight into the risks, benefits, and opportunities of various solutions as needed.
• Proactively work with the engagement team and partners and pursue up-sell opportunities for Microsoft.
• Work independently as well as a member of an agile team
• Grow the business though delivery excellence and predictability, IP creation and re-use and experiences sharing.
• Deliver quality engagements with your expertise, either as an advisor, reviewer or resource in high profile projects to ensure customer value.
• Provide advisory services to the customer.

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or equivalent, combined with extensive relevant working experience in technical consulting in relevant Enterprise environments. 

Proven track record of consultancy engagements on the Microsoft product stack and experienced in Microsoft .Net programming framework and VisualStudio TFS tools: 

• C# Asp .Net 4.0/5.0; CSS3 HTML, JS (Jquery, Angular, Knockout, Bootstrap, React); WPF; WCF
• Mobile Application development: ◦Universal Windows APP; Windows Phone APP (JS Xaml)
• Azure Core and Mobility PaaS: Azure Storage; Azure Service Bus; Azure Document DB
• WAAD; Iaas Foundamentals; IoT Hub; Traffic Manager; Application Insight; Notification Hub
• Web App; Mobile Apps

 

Cloud Services Core Skills

• MBaaS: Microsoft Azure App Service Mobile APP
• MAM, MDM: Mobile Application Management & Mobile Device Management
• Cross Platform Framework:  
  • Cordova
  • Xamarin

Microsoft Certification MCPD on Azure Services and Solutions will be appreciated as the following Exams:  

• Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions (MCPD 70-534)
• Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions (MCPD 70-533)
• Designing and Developing Windows Azure Applications (MCPD 70-583).
• Other Native Mobile Environments developing experiences will be appreciated: IOS, Android.

 

Fluency in English and the relevant local language is required. 

This position may require travel throughout European countries.
