You become globally responsible for creating, enhancing and securing world class logistical tools and operations, focusing on best in class safety, efficiency and flows. You will be a part of the Group Logistics team, which besides warehouse excellence, also works with our current and future supply chain and logistical footprint. We aim to create world class processes within our supply chain, and you join and will work with a business focused team working on improving service levels to our customers, while providing the best value at the lowest possible cost. Detailed Description Enable an improved delivery service and a streamlines business In this newly established position, you will ensure and enable an improved delivery service to our customers. Also, you are to streamline our business to reduce waste and improve quality. You will be the one to ensure best practice in working across the company in all warehouse operations processes and tools, integrating various related business unit activities. You set up a global process model covering goods receipt, material handling and inventory control, distribution and shipping. In all tasks, the Quality and Lean approach must be applied to ensure high quality and efficient work flows. Thus, you will: · Define and roll out the warehouse excellence program globally as the expert in terms of in and out bound logistics as well as warehouse operations. · Act as change agent and be a resource to warehouse managers, creating plans for improvement. · Design a global warehouse performance management system to track safety, quality and productivity in our warehouses. · Follow up on agreed development plans with each warehouse manager to ensure progress and knowledge sharing across the company. · Develop a warehouse excellence process audit and tools to ensure sustainable processes and to keep track of best practice implementation. Job Requirements Change management and operations experience · You have a solid theoretical background with a master’s degree in engineering or business studies with a logistics and operational focus. · Preferably, you have experience from production, logistics or warehouse operations giving you an understanding of the end-to-end value chain. · You have a few years of experience within Lean as well as change management enabling you to master the Lean toolbox in all operational disciplines and act as a change agent for the Group. · You have excellent skills within IT, especially Excel, Outlook and Oracle. · You speak, read and write English fluently. Your level of engagement and drive is contagious to the people around you. You are a great change agent with great communication skills who is able to plant little seeds of your ideas with your colleagues across the organization. Moreover, you are structured and good at planning, and you work well with deadlines. Finally, you are a fast learner and keep yourself updated on latest trends and market updates.
