Are you a dynamic Contract Manager with a commercial mindset and experience within EU tender law? Join us and become Contract Manager in Group Procurement where you will be part of a team of more than 90 skilled and dedicated colleagues. Group Procurement is a corporate function handling sourcing and procurement activities across the entire organisation. We deliver value, ranging from transactional to more strategic and holistic solutions with focus on change management and value optimisation, and ensure that we act as a professional, reliable and responsible company. Thermal Power CAPEX Procurement is integrated in the business unit, and we play a vital part in realising Thermal Power’s growth strategy. In the CAPEX team, we offer a portfolio of procurement services for the different maturity phases of project development for existing plants and new business solutions. You will be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Contract Manager, you are responsible for establishing sourcing strategies based on strategic directions and market intelligence as well as for planning and conducting EU tenders. You are also responsible for negotiations and contracts within construction work and projects and in doing so to ensure contractual compliance with DONG Energy’s policies for insurance and QHSE. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •negotiate commercial terms and conditions in Danish and English •ensure close cooperation with and continuously strive for buy-in from internal stakeholders through-out the processes •engage in continuous dialogue with key suppliers •liaise with the business unit to optimise processes and drive value creation •handle warranty claims. Your profile You are a skilled CAPEX procurement specialist with practical experience of EU tender law and EU directives – specifically the Utility Directive. Your solid interpersonal skills enable you to build and maintain strong stakeholder relations. Moreover, you are able to work under tight deadlines on multiple projects. As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you have strong communication skills and speak and write English fluently, enabling you to communicate and negotiate smoothly and efficiently with your business partners. As a person, you have a hands-on mindset and are used to working in a changing environment with a wide range of stakeholders placed in different locations and countries. You have distinct people and business acumen, enabling you to develop an effective strategy for completing your tasks and influence suppliers and key stakeholders in the organisation.
