You will join the CIO Office in Bjerringbro consisting of 20 colleagues in Denmark, Manila, Budapest and Shanghai. We provide support to around 700 people in the IS department regarding asset management, contract management, IT security, process improvement, training and administration. You will refer to CIO Office Manager, Niels Nielsen. “We are a relentlessly ambitious team with an informal atmosphere and good collegial sparring and teamwork. Our department has grown over the past few years, and we are now going through a transition and globalisation phase, where we will lift our performance to the next level,” Niels says. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? You will be responsible for all issues regarding global IT contracts. You provide control and support to contract owners by registering, following and maintaining contracts from proposal to contract closeout. Further, you have full financial control of maintenance costs related to contracts, and you perform investment controlling for IS projects. One of the key aspects in your position is to form an overview of the contracts and licenses. You know the background, terms and conditions, start and termination date as well as which stakeholders are connected to which contracts and licenses. With this information, and looking at both legal and commercial aspects, you optimise the contracts and licenses and work with a number of stakeholders with the goal to negotiate better contracts. “Your challenge in this position is to gain the needed overview and to be able to show results from the optimised contracts. It is important to focus on both the legal and commercial aspects of the contracts in order to obtain the best results for Grundfos,” Niels explains. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You have an IT/IS background and are certified in IT Contract Management. Or perhaps you hold a Master of Business Law or have an economic background. Most importantly, you have solid experience with Contract and Purchasing Law, and you are able to combine your skills with good commercial understanding. Finally, you have a solid knowledge of contractual law in both Danish and English. “As a person, you need to be outgoing and a good communicator as you will be dealing with multiple stakeholders from many different areas. Also, you are able to work independently as well as act proactively when optimising our contracts, and you are able to gain an overview and structure your work,” Niels finishes.
