Group Legal, IP and Contract Review, Procurement and Product Development. You will be a part of Vestas’ Group Legal, IP and Contract Review team which is responsible for providing a broad range of legal services for the benefit of the whole Vestas Group. The sub-department Legal Procurement and Product Development consists of five lawyers who provide legal services across the Vestas Group with a focus on sourcing, manufacturing and R&D functions. This includes driving and supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of contract templates and contract processes as well as governance around contracting with the overall aim to enable business and control and create transparency with regard to risks. The sub-department Legal Procurement and Product Development collaborates with all levels in the Vestas organisation, with internal customers having diverse backgrounds educationally, culturally and geographically. Responsibilities Due to an increasing workload, we are expanding our team with a new Corporate Legal Adviser in Group Legal, IP and Contract Review, Procurement and Product Development you will be offering a broad range of legal services within Vestas. Some of your tasks will be: Development of contract tools and standards Drafting and negotiation of contracts Training of the sourcing organization on contract and legal matters Development of business policies, processes and best practice governance General ad hoc legal support, including for larger projects Advising on legal risk management Qualifications Masters degree in law (cand.jur.), lawyer (advokat) or equivalent. 3 - 5 years of work experience within a comparable environment, in a law firm or in a corporate function. Experience with contract drafting and negotiation. Fluent in English. Competencies Proactive and service minded. Ability to communicate at all levels in order to provide accurate information on complex matters. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. Good commercial awareness and understanding. Capable of driving complex projects.
