Bring your expertise within process technology and continuous improvement mindset to help us industrializing our production approach in decoration platforms.

Core Responsibilities

Your role is to:

• Map the current situation and identify process improvements and areas suitable for optimization which would make us faster and more efficient.

• Define and coordinate project teams

• Deal with suppliers, stakeholders and steering committees.

• Actively handle risks and opportunities towards desirable outcome for the company.

• Apply creativity, leverage specialist knowledge and practical problem-solving methodology to solve several challenges.

• Promote analytical data-based approach and decision making

Play your part in our team succeeding

You will be part of the Research & Development (R&D) Novelty Decoration team. We are a team of engineers and specialists split in two location; Billund DK and Kladno CZ. We support and execute Engineering & Quality (E&Q) business plan by ensuring all new products are processed (decorated, assembled) and packed in efficient manner on standardized equipment/decoration platforms.

Your role as Decoration manager specialist is a key position within R&D team driving various global tasks/projects, which aims towards industrializing our production approach in decoration platforms.

You will work globally on several process and technology improvements and are in daily collaboration with global and local stakeholders at all production sites, product development teams in DK and LEGO suppliers across the world.

Do you have what it takes?

- You have a university degree at business and/or technical university with business/project understanding

- 5+ years experience in a similar profile within Research and Development, preferably in global environment due to daily communication in foreign language, dealing with diverse cultures and working across time zones

- You are interested in modern technologies and innovative consumer trends

- You have strong analytical skills and have a datadriven approach.

- You have the ability to read/understand technical drawings (AutoCAD, 3D models)

- Sixsigma knowledge is an advantage

- Knowledge of graphics programs such as Illustrator is an advantage

- Experience with Simulation tools would also be an advantage

As this is a global role, you should be willing to travel up to 60 days / year

Written and spoken fluency is absolute must as English is company language and is used in daily communication (official language certificate is an advantage). Spanish / Chinese language at any level is an advantage
