Would you like to lead technology planning and portfolio management, hereby playing a key role in our development of motors for pumps? And do you want to be at the forefront of making our execution of deliveries even more effective? You will join the Electro Mechanical Development organisation (EMD) which consists of 25 colleagues in 3 departments, who deliver the designs of new motors in Grundfos pumps. You will refer to Electro Mechanical Development Manager, Johnny Overgaard. “In EMD, we are relentlessly ambitious and at the front of pump motor development. We are not satisfied with status quo, so you will join a department with plenty of room for your ambitions and with great potential for development and innovation” Johnny says. Your primary role is to lead all aspects of portfolio planning and resource allocation in order to secure timely and adequate planning of tasks, deliveries and technology planning. You drive the technology portfolio planning to make sure all project objectives are met in regards to time, cost, competencies etc. and ensure that specifications are in place. Further, you align the overall EMD roadmap with portfolio plans as well as with technology roadmaps, just as you identify gaps and plan tasks for bridging these. You will work closely with the Managers in EMD as well as with our Project Managers and the other Planning Managers in order to develop processes and tools necessary to secure our delivery streams. “Your challenge will be to gather the necessary information and challenge the way we do things to maintain our high ambition level and to secure solid planning. We want to take our planning to the next level, and you will be at the forefront of doing so,” Johnny explains. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You have a BA or a Master’s degree in engineering or as a technician and a minimum of 5+ years of experience with high technology product development. Further, you have knowledge of and an interest in planning advanced technical product development. High proficiency in English is a must. We consider it a plus if you have experience with project or portfolio management. “As a person, you work in a systematic and structured manner, enabling you to manoeuvre in an agile and changing environment without losing focus on your planning. You are outgoing and good at working and communicating with stakeholders and get the right information. Finally, you are ambitious and not afraid to challenge our processes in order to improve them,” Johnny finishes.
