If so, the Delivery Pursuit Lead (DPL) – Adoption and Change Management position, within Microsoft’s Services organization, is for you! We need enthusiastic people to lead Services opportunity development on the behalf of Microsoft sellers and their end customers.  We need you to drive a collaborative solution design process, and identify the appropriate skill profiles required to drive business outcomes for our customers, focusing on Digital Transformation as a priority.

 

Responsibilities

We are a global team of exceptional people who deliver unique business value to our customers by supporting and increasing the productive usage of deployed Microsoft technologies, earning the confidence, trust, and loyalty of our customers. As part of our team, you will work closely with sales teams and delivery resources as required to define and scope quality solutions that drive business outcomes, focusing where possible on Digital Transformation.  The DPL is accountable for providing a solution package to sellers, and reuses Intellectual Property to scope end-to-end lifecycle solutions across their portfolio of pursuits that enable growth whilst ensuring that deal velocity and deal quality remains paramount. 

As a Delivery Pursuit Lead – Adoption and Change Management, you will:

• Be the sales interface for Adoption and Change Management (ACM) pursuits throughout the sales process, understanding the opportunity and shaping the deal to win.
• Lead the deal development process from the estimation to the engagement setup.
• Shape and scope deals that meet the customer requirements and are aimed at their business outcomes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across Services to map Microsoft solutions and to support the proposal preparation
• Determine the appropriate Services delivery team profile to land the solution design across the end-to-end lifecycle and prepare the solution proposal package
• Produce high quality artefacts and competitive proposals through proactive re-use of IP and standard offerings that accelerate deal velocity and deal quality.
• Provide leadership to all assigned resources and activities to support opportunity qualification, scoping, estimating, costing, risk identification and mitigations, contract preparation, and effective handover of sold work to the delivery teams
• Support Services Sales with business development activities related to opportunities that are assigned to them and with demand generation and sales enablement
• Mentor other DPLs
• Contribute to business goals and continuous improvement initiatives
• Travel to customer sites/cross-border Microsoft offices as required

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience primarily in a client-facing role
• Collaborative, problem solver who is creative and confident
• Customer driven with a sales-focused mentality
• Ability to influence outcomes in ambiguous settings
• Willingness and desire to learn
• A good balance between business and technical acumen
• Analytical problem solving skills
• Strengths in project management and business development
• Building customer/partner relationships
• Change Management expertise
• Previous sales and/or pre-sales experience
• Previous experience with PROSCI or similar Change Management methodologies
• Capture Management/Bid Management experience (e.g. Shipley)
