A part of a powerful and innovative department

You will join our growing NOOS department, which is a young and vibrant department driven by the passion to implement new ideas and make a difference for our retail and wholesale partners and improve their business. The Demand Planning team is a central part of the department and holds the responsibility for the entire flow of NOOS goods from our suppliers to our central warehouse. Your objective as Demand Planner is to make sure we have the right goods on stock, at the right place, at the right time. The department is characterized by freedom with responsibility and a social work environment, where we bring our ideas to life and are motivated by seeing the results of our efforts.

Your chance to take on responsibility and make an impact

As Demand Planner, you will ensure an even closer collaboration with our upstream and downstream partners. You will be working with demand planning and replenishment planning software and have a close collaboration our Buying and Sales teams to ensure accurate stock levels and optimise the product mix available. Furthermore, you will work together with buyers and suppliers to develop our supply chain according to a volatile demand pattern.

More specifically, your daily tasks include:

• Analysing daily and weekly sales and stock reports to optimise the demand forecast and flow of goods to the countries, ensuring the best supply chain flow possible
• Making inventory decisions based on country-specific sales trends
• Implementing the right forecast strategies based on market feedback through our forecast system
• Order placement, capacity bookings and raw material bookings to secure fast reaction times in our supply chain
• Ensure that information about automatic replenishment is communicated correctly and on time to our retail partners and wholesale customers
• Analysis of data and interpretation of results
• Ad hoc production of operational tools and reports, forming the basis for qualified decision making.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a degree in business or economics, supply chain or international business
• Either 1-3 years' experience within planning or recently graduated
• First-hand knowledge of demand planning /replenishment planning or relevant experience from a buying or sales department is an advantage, but not a must
• Experience with business intelligence and metadata processing and analysis
• Great skills in Microsoft Excel are a must along with knowledge of PowerBI
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken - Danish is considered an additional advantage.

You have an analytical and structured approach to your work, and you are able to convert analysis into insights, sustainable strategies, and actionable plans. You will have a broad network both across departments and towards our partners and therefore we value that you are service minded and motivated by building relations both internally and externally. Through your daily work you contribute to good corporations and with your strong communication skills you can present your message in a clear and understandable way.
