The job entails a broad range of tasks, e.g. department budgeting, planning of meetings, quality management activities and other administrative tasks. In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. About the department The position will be anchored in Epidemiology, which is part of Global Development in Søborg, Denmark. This department consists of a team of 10 dedicated epidemiologists of various backgrounds and experience. In Epidemiology we are responsible for supporting key development projects and launched products by providing epidemiological expertise based on literature and data. The department assistant will also support the Health Economics & HTA department, which consists of a team of 14 people, also within Global Development. In Health Economics & HTA our focus is on supporting and improving Novo Nordisk’s development programme by providing health economic and health technology assessment (HTA) input to the development products and clinical trials. The job The job covers a broad range of tasks and responsibilities. You will be responsible for coordinating quality activities at department level. Further you will be responsible for planning and follow-up on department budgets in SAP in close collaborations with the department managers as well as supporting the managers in other managerial processes such as recruitment, booking of travel and settling of travel expenses, purchase, seminar-, meeting- and course planning. Finally, you will be responsible for general administrative support to employees in the two departments covering approximately 25 employees. Qualifications You are a team player, responsible and have an eye on the details. You take initiative and like new challenges. You can handle simultaneous tasks and are able to complete them, even when you are busy. You are engaged, positive and willing to actively contribute to the operation of the two departments. You have some years’ experience from a similar position. You are an experienced IT user, familiar with the Office-package and therefore fully versed in Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and preferably also have some knowledge of working with SAP.
