Would you like to work in a global environment where we work in depth with production technologies? And do you want to be part of the full process of developing and producing our products? Then join the Production Equipment department, which is part of the project organisation supporting Grundfos globally with production process and equipment knowledge of the Grundfos technologies. You will lead a technical team within automation and handle technical projects. Moreover, you become part of the Management Group of 15 colleagues who spar across different teams. You refer to Project Execution Manager, Kurt Vendelbo. ”You lead approximately 20 colleagues who are responsible for delivering equipment and production processes globally. Your team has both specialists and generalists who enjoy good collaboration and work on multiple projects at a time. You secure coordination and prioritisation across teams and projects,” Kurt explains. What is the job about? As Department Head, you are responsible for securing project execution of NEI projects within production equipment projects. This includes deliveries to other projects in need of these competences. Thus, you make sure we maintain a high project performance and that the Grundfos Group is supported in the best possible way. You do so by making sure that equipment and solutions based on defined production platforms are delivered to Development Product & Technology as well as Development Production and affiliate companies. An important part of your job is managing your team in order for the team to reach its success criteria. Thus, you develop the employees and the organisation by coaching, setting targets, executing plans and creating results. In doing so, you follow the Grundfos Leadership Principles and see to it that the right resources and competences are allocated to the right projects. Moreover, you are involved in the development of a strategy for Development Engineering togetherwith the Management team. “Your challenge in this job, really, is to secure the right level of competencies to handle the different tasks and complete the projects successfully. You need to be able to understand which production processes are the most relevant and how we support them in the best possible way,” Kurt says. What do you need to apply? You have a technical background, e.g. as an Engineer or Machine Specialist, which enables you to discuss technical issues and solutions. Furthermore, you have a management degree and experience with managing technical specialists combined with a project management track record. It is a plus if you have experience within automation as well as from a production organisation. You speak and write English fluently. “On a personal level, you are structured and as we work with Lean, it is important that you are process-oriented. Also, you are not afraid of sharing your thoughts and opinions on the direction you think is right for the organisation,” Kurt finishes.
