You will join the Production concepts, project management & measuring tools consisting of a network of 10 consultants and sparring partners. We work with creating production concepts, overall project management and finally measurement tools/metrology. Within these areas, we support the business with knowledge and solutions. As Design Engineer for measuring tools, it is your job to specify measuring equipment within metrology for production sites in the Grundfos Group. You work with cross functional groups (Engineering, Quality, Tool Designer and Manufacturing) in new development projects to define the optimal measuring. Moreover, you are responsible for covering the demands of projects together with product developers as well as the factory needing the equipment the projects are producing. You receive sparring from specialists in order to specify the exact solution required in the project and that it lives up to quality and regulations. “You main challenge is to have the ability to manage multiple projects paying particular attention to details and contributing with your technical insight. It is you who drives the projects so being on top on time, cost, quality and processes is very important and so is your ability to discuss technical specifications and requirements with specialists” Kamilla explains. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You are a Mechanical or Quality Engineer alternatively “Maskintekniker” with at least 4 years of experience in quality or manufacturing. Your English skills are solid in both speech and writing. If you have project management experience, we consider it a plus, and experience in Geometrical tolerance (GPS or GD&T), mechanical processes or design of measuring equipment is preferred. “On a personal level, you possess a lot of drive as you will be driving the projects from beginning to end. It is important that you are able to challenge the way we do things as well as your colleagues in order to keep moving forward in the project. And finally, you need to be able to see when a risk requires an immediate decision to be made and for further action to be taken,” Kamilla finishes.
