You will support Denmark's care workers
As a Developer, you will work closely with your agile full-stack Scrum team to break down, specify, provide estimates for, and develop the Columna Cura product. The product is one of the most advanced EHR systems on the market and is being developed as a web and app solution (Android and iOS). The product has been around for two years and is currently in use in more than 30 Danish municipalities. Columna Cura provides Denmark's care workers with the opportunity to spend more time on care and prevention and less time on documentation. By having relevant information within reach, we ensure that users can benefit from a more efficient decision-making process. Columna Cura is constantly being expanded and developed. We are dealing with a critical system with many users, a lot of data, and high loads. This places considerable demands on reliability, performance, and scalability. In recent months we have been in the process of expanding functionality in the social care sector. Much of this work centres on building functionality on existing foundations, which not only poses several exciting challenges but will also require you to apply methods that enable you to see connections within a large and complex system.You and your team will play a key role in this. You will develop, optimise, and maintain the product together with six other Scrum teams, which you will also work closely with. To put it another way, you will be busy behind the scenes of a rapidly developing and complex product.

Here is a taste of what you will be doing:

• Clarifying, specifying, and developing new features in collaboration with the team and with input from customers, UX, and Architects, while bearing in mind the existing architecture and code
• Ensuring stable, maintenance-friendly, and testable code
• Optimising and maintaining existing code

You will join an inspirational software house with world-class colleagues. Your team counts eight talented colleagues i.e. three Developers in Denmark, one of whom is Scrum Master, three Developers in Romania, a Tester, and a Product Owner.Despite the geographical distance between you and your Romanian colleagues, you will meet with them several times a year and work together on a day-to-day basis via Skype and group chats. In addition, you will work closely alongside other Scrum teams that together make up Columna Cura. We are defined by our ability to challenge and develop each other and ourselves. We constantly discuss our processes and explore even smarter ways to develop software. Co-operation in the team is based on a professional but also social community characterised by mutual trust. You have ambitions for the product and your own development
Our ideal candidate will be someone who has a background in computer science, engineering, or similar, as well as at least two years' experience as a Developer. You have experience with Java and ideally several of the platforms and technologies used by our solution. Although Android would be a particular advantage, this is not a requirement as long as you have plenty of motivation to learn new technologies. Our solution uses: Web (JavaScript, TypeScript, and AngularJS), Android (Native), and iOS (Swift).Looking at your personal qualities, you are driven by the quality of your work and enjoy a busy working day in which you need a structured approach in order to keep an eye on the finer details without losing sight of the bigger picture. Although you take responsibility, are proactive, and are not afraid to make decisions, you also know when it is necessary to include customers, product owners, and Testers, for example.
