Description Sitecore is seeking to hire a Development Operations Service Engineer to join our team in Copenhagen. You will become a part of an experienced DevOps team where you will help design, implement, and deliver world-class Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery for teams around the world. About the job As a Development Operations Service Engineer, you will write, maintain, and test build scripts, deployment scripts, and/or installation and configuration processes. Your team is responsible for application lifecycle management (ALM) practices and tools and, through these, improving the software development experience in Sitecore. You will report to the Director of Development Operation Services. Your responsibilities •Enhancing and maintaining the continuous integration pipeline •Writing, maintaining, and testing build scripts, deployment scripts, and/or installation and configuration processes •Helping train developers, QA engineers, and project managers in the use of TFS, its Integrated Development Environment (IDE), and its associated tools. •Working creatively with Development Operation Services team, IT, and software development teams to optimize our systems and processes Your qualifications •Strong understanding of PowerShell •Experience with .NET Framework and C# •Experience with Git and other source control systems. •Strong experience with and understanding of automated build processes and tools, particularly continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD), and build languages (such as Nant, MSBuild, and Rake-inspired versions like PSake) •Experience with Microsoft Web Framework (ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC) and IIS •Experience with CI servers (TFS, CruiseControl.NET, TeamCity, Jenkins) •Experience using scripting languages to automate development, build, and deployment processes (PowerShell preferred) •Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), particularly configuring and managing the build system, is a big plus •Working knowledge of the Scrum development process •Hands-on working knowledge in several of the following tools: Microsoft Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio, Eclipse, the Subversion and Git source code control systems, make, NAnt, and MSBuild About Sitecore Sitecore is the global leader in experience management software that enables context marketing.
