With reference to the R&D Director, you will join the Development & Reliability department, which is part of a dynamic and cross-functional organisation. Your responsibility covers the design of pressure sensors for various industrial applications. Dedicated engineer delivering innovative mechanical design In cooperation with a team of 12 dedicated colleagues, your main focus will be to deliver innovative mechanical design of pressure sensors from concept to design using structured design tools like FMEA. You are motivated by delivering solid, high-quality results according to plan. You will benefit from a strong network of contacts within Danfoss as well as external contact with suppliers and customers. Other important key tasks will be: •Mechanical design of pressure sensors for various harsh industrial applications, from concept to design •Release of products, including testing and documentation of the design •Design for assembly for high volume with focus on cost and quality •Structured problem solving on pressure sensors based on data analysis Innovative and proactive mind-set You have an educational background as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanics or Mechatronics and some years of experience with driving innovation from idea to product launch. You have experience with CAD, and preferably, you are familiar with Six Sigma (green belt) and TS16949. It will be an advantage, to have knowledge within electronics as well as knowledge of applications for refrigeration, mobile hydraulics, or engines. It is essential that you can work in a structured manner with product development and have the ability to find the best possible solution. On a more personal note, you are a proactive self-starter with a high drive, ambition, and a positive can-do attitude. You are committed and a competent networker, who ensures optimal cooperation with all stakeholders. Last but not least, you are fluent in written and spoken English.
