Spot and develop innovative solutions within sensor technologies Being a Development Specialist in Industrial Automation we rely on you to provide major contributions to technological innovation within Industrial Automation's sensor business. You will be the key player who spots technology trends based on competitor benchmarking and open innovation with colleagues and stakeholders. With your natural curiosity and analytical skills, you ensure the development and maturing of new technologies for use in our next generation of products. You will be working closely with both competent and specialised colleagues and together you will help ensure a cutting edge value proposition for sensors developed in Industrial Automation. Curious engineer with strong analytical skills and a global view You hold a master’s degree in engineering and have a solid theoretical background within applied materials science, micromechanics, packaging of electronics and semiconductor components, sensors or mechatronics. Furthermore, you have solid experience within Industrial R&D – more specifically experience with technology and product development of industrial components and experience with reverse engineering and technology trend spotting. From your previous working experience, you have a well-developed ability to understand customer needs and invent new product features to satisfy these needs. As a person, you are creative and curious with strong analytical skills. As you will be working closely with highly specialised colleagues to deliver on advanced sensor elements, it is vital that you are a talented team player capable of communicating ideas and results within your area of expertise to non-experts and that you have a strong drive to deliver results.
