Lokation DK - Smørum .To join our group in New Product Tooling (NPT) New Product Tooling (NPT)) is responsible for development, commissioning and acceptance of plastic injection molding tools and support Research & Development Centre in Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, France and Poland, among others, the Danish hearing aid company Oticon. Tools development takes place in our own tool centre, in close cooperation with external tool vendors and in our own molding facilities dedicated to the introduction of new products. The Job Together with our development engineers, you will ensure our new products are designed for manufacturing while maintaining an efficient workflow from part design to running production – without compromising design and function. You will get the chance to use your skills in all phases of the project, and contribute to the continued building of knowledge in areas that constantly challenge the boundaries of the impossible. Your area of focus: Tool project management Design for Manufacturing (DfM) Ensuring robust tool constructions (we work in SolidWorks and Creo). Review of part and tool design, including drawings and tolerances Participation in internal development projects (eg. Standard tool development, etc.) Consultant Support with tool knowledge throughout the organization Qualifications You are trained tool designer or toolmaker and has experience in design for manufacturing, tool design, tool making, injection molding and validation. You are used to working across disciplines and thrive with a broad interface. As a person, you are a team player, initiative, proactive and self-propelled The work environment is international and we expect you to be fluent in English, whereas Danish is considered as an advantage.
