You will be instrumental in developing analytical solutions, along with extracting insights from data for improving business decisions at a global market leader in industrial catalysis. The ambition is to leverage structured and unstructured data sets, existing enterprise data combined with external data and use your strong knowledge of data science theory, statistical modeling to find new actionable insights across Topsoe. You are passionate about taking data from its raw form from an array of sources and manipulating it into unique insights and opportunity areas for our marketing, finance, and business development teams. You have the critical blend of statistical, technical, and business skills, which can identify new opportunities. You are eager to impress your stakeholders through data and you know that insights need to be beautifully presented, therefore visualization and presentation skills are essential. You are curious and obsessed with data; and feel confident to independently work with large data sets to explore, manipulate, and visualize data to find new patterns and insights. You will collaborate with many people from across the business to help solve problems and enlighten others with your data skills. Among other things you will work with the following; analyzing data to evaluate existing decision frameworks and apply analytical techniques to solve business problems; interacting with key business stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into analytical problems and provide solutions with actionable insights; keep abreast of industry trends and emerging methodologies to continuously improve your data analytics skill set. Your responsibilities •Help define and deliver strategic and tactical analytics to drive business value and strengthen the voice of the customer •Provide consultancy on analytical solutions and best practice across relevant teams and functions •Complete analytical and reporting tasks for marketing, finance and business development teams as well as the wider company •Create reusable models, tools, and dashboards that can be applied across our business matrix •Champion the benefits of data analysis in Topsoe •Build KPI frameworks for digital marketing initiatives •Work with corporate IT to produce automated reporting and dashboard solutions •Identify opportunities together with the digital strategists and creative teams •Proactively stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
