We are looking for a driven professional in search of a challenge and keen on creating a disruptive impact within FLSmidth’s Digital Partnerships & Venture team.  This role will be responsible for managing our technology ecosystem while working directly with our product teams to craft digital product strategies while taking responsibility for the respective user growth and revenues for products developed with/by partners.

 

What You'll Be Doing: 

Business Development

• Build and manage the technology ecosystem
• Research, interview and establish strong connections with Founders, CEOs and CTOs 
• Facilitate digital growth opportunities with customers and the product organization
• Oversee the development of POVs
• Support and facilitate new business, revenue and industry partnership initiatives

 

Relationship Management

• Curate, develop and manage the overall relationship and engagements with our partners
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align activities to portfolio strategy and investment thesis 
• Maintain, develop and grow relationships with customers
• Forges relations across the business to unify a partnerships model
• Identify, evaluate, prioritize, pursue, and manage digital relationships, partnerships, and programs across academia, industry, incubators, accelerators, associations and start-ups

 

Financial Analysis

• Analyze the viability of partnering with early stage start-ups and portfolio companies, their respective industries, the market for their products/services, their financing needs, and exit strategies
• Support and help drive the financial modeling and valuation of prospective investment opportunities
• Develop business cases and financial assessments of opportunities
• Manage prioritization and due diligence meetings with management 

 

Reporting and Presentation

• Provide Partnerships support for various types of new business development pitches
• Assist with investment analysis and various other materials for the Investment Committee
• Work with subject matter experts to develop perspectives and insights which contribute to decision making materials

Education & Experience

• 7+ years of consulting and managing strategic relationships across technology industries
• Bachelor’s degree, an MBA or Master's a plus
