We are looking for an experienced Revenue Manager that has experience with digital products to help find creative ways to harmonize and grow the commercial agenda for digital offerings across the organization.  In this role you will focus on helping our Global Product Leaders, Global Service Leaders and Regional Sales teams across both our Cement and Mining industries to develop the commercial models for our products and services, while delivering on the value proposition to our customers.

 

As a Digital Revenue Manager, you will create technology oriented disruptive propositions and bundles that drive growth for FLSmidth. You will have free reign to A/B test new and unique ideas based on a deep understanding of data and be relentless in the pursuit of growth. This role requires a combination of business development, revenue management, data analysis and marketing skills. Your role will be cross-functional in nature working in tandem with Product, Sales, Marketing and Engineering via rapid iteration.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Conduct market and competitive research to drive strategic decision-making and prioritization
  • Develop business cases, structure models and analyses to support go to market and sales efforts
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing and Engineering on deals, contract negotiation, new business models and software road maps
  • Design and execute creative ways to drive growth and engagement
  • Prioritize constant improvement by testing data-driven hypotheses across all channels
  • Track and analyze revenue and growth trends, and work with analytics to develop quantitative insights into trend drivers
  • Identify and manage key performance metrics to establish customer-focused and results-oriented strategies
  • Exchange ideas/data/feedback with other departments (Product, Sales, Engineering) in order to present results and make the product more user-centric

 

What You'll Bring:

  • A minimum of 10+ years professional experience developing B2B commercial models and pricing of high technology (services, s/w, h/w) to industrial companies 
  • 5+ years background in advanced manufacturing or asset heavy industries
  • A passion for analyzing and understanding data and turning it into actionable insights that effectively drive customer acquisition and penetration numbers
  • Out of the box mindset -- break the mold of traditional marketing & sales
  • Effective communicator and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience managing and delivering against multiple products simultaneously in a fast-moving environment
