Digitalisation Manager to develop Emerging Water Technologies

Use your entrepreneurial mindset to make your mark on a new agenda within a global company. You work on development of digital as well as after-sales services and apply your digital expertise to contribute to the digitalisation process in Grundfos. Specifically, you support a number of our portfolio companies within water monitoring and water treatment solutions and the remote management of these. You refer to Global Product Manager Jesper Ravn Lorenzen and collaborate with the Grundfos Emerging Water Technologies (EWT) organization, Sales, Business Development and other digitalisation specialists around the world. “You will get an immense freedom to define an agenda, take chances and make an impact on the digitalisation of Grundfos. Joining a team that support customised water tech solutions, you also become part of a test bed for what is new and groundbreaking – the first steps that can make a difference across the globe,” says your new manager, Jesper. What is the job about? You cooperate with a small team based in Bjerringbro, Denmark. From here, you support 4-6 portfolio companies with the identification and exploration of commercial opportunities within digital services as well as business development and after-sales services. To do so, you travel up to 90 days a year across Asia, Europe and the U.S. Here, you collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders and help handle and prioritise customised product and business development projects. More specifically, you help commercialise new EWT products, lead structured new business creation with local teams and ensure knowledge-sharing and coordination, while you manage our projects. You do so based on customer insights, but at the same time you also progress and enable the corporate Grundfos digitalisation agenda through your own initiative. What do you need to apply? To manage the diversity in tasks, cultures and solutions, we imagine that you have 5+ years of experience within sales, business or product management in a B2B industry. Specifically, we are looking for experience within digital or after-sales solutions as well as an ability to facilitate projects across borders. And we expect you to be culturally sensitive and able to communicate effortlessly in English. ”What is really important is that you love collaborating with customers as well as internal IT and data specialists. Also, you are comfortable not knowing what tomorrow brings and can handle both failures and successes in a dynamic business environment,” says Jesper.
