Danfoss is looking for a Digitalization Specialist who can be the key enabler for the development and maintenance of the future product and system configurator framework at Danfoss Power Solutions. Your role will be to develop, maintain and document the future Danfoss Power Solution product and system configurator framework. You will become a member of a newly established team and be an active participant in the process automation and digitalization of the full value chain covering the full product life cycle. The ability to champion the holistic view is needed in this role to ensure that our configurator framework functions as an integrated solution supporting both the frontend as well as the backend. You will become an expert in one or more of the environments we utilize in our framework so that you can give counsel on how we best apply to additional features in the future. Together with the team, you will be responsible for the full development process, mockup, prototype, implementation iterations, test and release. You will work closely with sales, marketing, engineering, operations, IT and team members to ensure collaborative planning accordingly to our standardized way of working.
 
The preferred location for this position is in Nordborg, Denmark, alternative flexible within Northern Europe and entails up to 40 travelling days per year (e.g. US, China).
 
Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you probably hold a Bachelor degree in IT or Engineering, but more importantly you have as a minimum 3 years of experience with development and deployment of online systems. If you have experience with any of the following environments for product configurators: SAP VC, SAP SSC/CPQ it is a plus.
 
Additionally, you will need:

• Generalist programmer skills preferably with .NET and SQL knowledge
• Technical affinity and an analytical mindset which enables you to understand new knowledge and complexities at a rapid pace
• Knowledge of product modularization, product configurators, hydraulics, UX/UI design, Operational Research, CFD, Siemens Team Center, Siemens NX, Siemens Rulestream and/or SAP Hybris will also be an advantage
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
