Your challenges

VELUX has started a new journey with launch of VELUX Active – a connected product which will enable a great indoor climate. To grow this area, we have established a new category, of which you will become Director, within Global Product Management covering all digital products, connectivity and partnerships within ecosystems. Another part of our digital journey is that we have placed two other areas of responsibility within this area – our future implementation of our Product Information Management system and our global work with Building Information Modelling (BIM). Together with your dedicated team, you will ensure that digitalization of product information and tools will be developed, prioritized and relevant for the users across the 40 sales companies globally.

Your team will develop, using external developers, and introduce new and innovating digital products alone or through partnerships and provide commercial as well as product support direct to our sales companies in order to ensure effective execution of strategy, growing the business together.

Furthermore, your team will also participate in cross-functional GPM projects, securing that digital and IOT will be an integrated part in future products.

You will be based in Hørsholm (just north of Copenhagen) and being part of a global organisation, you can expect to travel approximately 30 days annually – both in Denmark and internationally.

Your qualifications

You have graduated with a Master’s Degree in business, economics, digital or the like combined with 7+ years of relevant experience, working with and driving digital development within a technical industry with focus on IOT and connectivity.

Your strong point is your international mindset, your understanding of and passion for the digital world, your commercial and execution mindset and your technical understanding of how products and systems can work together. You are innovative, hardworking, practical, you have the ability to take ideas and turning them into successful solutions, and you can translate the technical ideas into business language.

You are a natural networker who easily builds up relationships within the organisation through results, credibility and trust. Furthermore, you are a self-starter with a ‘can do’, result-oriented attitude and a strong understanding of the endless possibilities within IOT, connectivity and digital.

As a person, you possess great drive, and you can set the new vision for this category developing the strategy and setting the direction for the team.

It is important that you can navigate within a matrix organisation with many different stakeholders and that you can achieve results in this type of environment.

Last, but not least, you communicate fluently in English, both spoken and in writing.
