Job Description

At Danfoss Power Solutions we are currently looking for a Director (m/f/d) Global Supply Chain for our Hydrostatics Business Unit, preferably at of our main European locations in Hamburg (DE), Nordborg (DK) or Vantaa (FIN) or alternatively you may choose any other Power Solutions location globally. You will drive our global supply chain strategy for our eight manufacturing plants (China, USA, Slovakia, Brazil and Germany) to meet the needs of our customers.
 
In this role, you will be a key player in the journey towards supply chain excellence helping us to set new standards. By governing our global manufacturing foot print and planning the long-term capacity, you will deliver an integral part of our excellent service. You will follow the flow of information and materials to build new initiatives, develop and lead concepts within supply chain analytics and digitalization such as a digital light tower for monitoring our performance. Your strong cross divisional collaboration and advice to senior leadership will ensure a constant improvement of our customer experience. Additionally, you will own our strong cross functional S&OP process and initiate new supply chain concept and tool development and implementation.
 
You will be responsible for a team overseeing the performance and improvement of our current systems as well as refining our strategy in line with the overall growth ambition. Apart from excellent people management, you will also oversee the change management resulting from supply chain innovation.
 
Your Profile
 
For this role, we require a university degree in a related technical or commercial field. Further, you have several years of relevant experience and a proven track record within supply chain management in a leadership position. Additionally, we are looking for: 

• Digital mindset with experience in data analytics, IT methods, ERP systems (SAP) and big data
• Open-minded, curious character with the ability to challenge the status quo
• Experience in change management and in driving digital innovations in the supply chain environment
• Excellent communicator and influencer at all levels in the organization
• Fluent English skills and strong intercultural skills
• Willingness to travel up to 40%
