Are you an engineer with excellent business and management skills? Then here is an opportunity to lead a department in charge of setting global quality standards within measuring technique and calibration. Head up Elements, Quality, Meassurements & Innovation and set our strategic direction As Head of this department, you will be responsible for measuring new elements and thereby setting the global standard for procedures and methods, approval of LEGO Elements and ensuring global alignment on quality levels. You innovate new processes and technology in thes area, and you will be in charge of 3 managers leading 40-45 employees in the department, setting the strategic direction as well as working with several global stakeholders. More specifically, you: Have the global responsibility for measuring equipment and calibration, ensuring that we follow and are up-to-date on the latest technological developments within this area Align and regulate the quality standards of LEGO Bricks Analyse and manage stakeholders as well as build a strong global team collaborating across functions and time zones Search and set up possibilities for sparring with relevant external partners and universities Ensure cross functionel innovation, enabling our activities to reach a new level Mutual value creation You will join a family-owned business that is passionate about the impact of play and where personal development and teamwork are cornerstones. By heading the department and setting the strategic direction, you will further develop our competence- and knowledge center within the quality and metrology area. Your leadership skills, drive, continuous improvement mind-set and proactive approach to the work will have a real impact on the way we perform. Engineer with strong management skills You probably have a degree in Engineering combined with business and economic insight - perhaps from an MBA You may have experience from a similar position, working with measurement technology, quality work or other technical areas You have several years of management experience - preferably from an international organisation - and you are prepared to travel for approximately 20-30 days per year As a person, you are a strong communicator with excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills You speak and write English close to fluently Join the global family of LEGO® In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you will collaborate across the LEGO Community.
