Are you an experienced leader/manager with strong quality experience? Then here is your opportunity to be overall responsible for a successful division in Danfoss Power Solutions. In this global position, you will play a core role in defining the strategy and driving development and implementation of a global TS 16949 quality system. Join the Controls division The Controls Division consists of 2 business units – PVG and Electronic Components (EC). As Quality Director, you will have the overall responsibility for quality in the Division. You cooperate closely with the Quality Managers at our 6 plants in Denmark, Slovakia, US, Brazil and China, who will refer indirectly to you, and be part of a global quality management team. This global role will take you travelling approximately 30-40 days a year. You can be based out of our Denmark plant or one of the two plants in the US. (Easley SC/ Minneapolis) Learn more about our business areas here: http://powersolutions.danfoss.com/about-us/our-business/ Lead the global quality improvement at strategic and tactical level In this role, your key objective is to improve the product quality in the full value chain by minimizing product line rejects. An important focus is to define and execute a quality strategy including driving the implementation process of TS 16949. In doing so, you collaborate closely with the management teams at our 6 plants to define, initiate and facilitate the right improvement activities. Your main responsibilities will be to: •Lead the global TS 16949 implementation •Challenge performance and drive product quality improvements in all functions •Lead the competence development for the EC and PVG business unit quality team •Coordinate warranty and retrofit cases •Communicate with internal/external customers on quality issues Experienced manager who can navigate in a matrix organization •Your Engineering background is paired with solid quality experience •In addition, you have minimum 3 years’ management experience within operations •Experience with TS 16949, preferably from the automotive industry is a definite advantage •You have some application and hydraulic knowledge You need to be an excellent communicator who is used to working in a matrix organization. Thus, you know that having informal leadership and driving change processes requires you to be persistent and highly collaborative in your approach.
