LEO Pharma has embarked on a very ambitious journey to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner – and that is why we need you. We have recently introduced our 2025 strategy, which aims to accelerate their efforts within innovative therapeutics, while strengthening the established portfolio and global footprint in medical dermatology. LEO Pharma already has several strategic initiatives and will soon launch the next set of strategic initiatives as part of our road towards 2025. 
The initiatives are pivotal to LEO Pharma’s future success and strong focus on strategy execution, alignment with other initiatives and identification of needs for both vertical and horizontal alignment will be key to succeed. To lead and coordinate strategy execution and transformation across the organisation, LEO Pharma is looking for an ambitious and experienced Director to lead and build the global strategic portfolio and the global strategic project management office.

The job

As Director of the global strategic portfolio management office, the overall objective is to build the portfolio management office and develop and own the project planning framework for the strategic portfolio initiatives. 

The Director will take ownership of the effective coordination globally across functions / regions with both top management and line of business while ensuring adherence to deliverables and deadlines challenging and supporting the key strategic initiatives.
The main responsibilities will be:

• Execute and maintain the global strategic portfolio and global strategic projects 
• Develop and ensure standard project reporting processes and execution to inform both project teams, LEO leaders in line of business and senior level stakeholder groups
• Clearly identify critical interfaces and dependencies and take ownership of ensuring such are effectively anchored within each project or line of business
• Proactively identify and drive resolution of key issues / risks that can potentially complicate or obstruct progress
• Develop innovative ways of working / tools for projects and across borders
• Facilitate workshops where necessary to drive cross-functional alignment and drive strategy execution
• Support change management initiatives across the project to facilitate a successful implementation

You will help build and lead a small team of highly skilled professionals to support and drive strategy execution and transformation of LEO Pharma towards 2025.

Your qualifications

• University degree and +10 years’ experience working hands-on with project planning and coordination in a corporate or consulting role, which enables you to break down and structure a global and complex portfolio of projects
• Solid experience from the pharmaceutical industry
• Good business understanding
• Experience from a Line of Business role – ideally with exposure to an affiliate or regional role
• Strong drive and willingness to build own area of responsibility to be a valued-adding contributor to both senior management and line of business
• Proven expert in building internal relations
• Seen as an expert in strategy execution and project management
• Good English skills both written and spoken
• A strong communicator, who understands business needs

The job is based in the LEO Pharma Headquarter in Ballerup, greater Copenhagen, Denmark, travelling should be expected in this role (10-20 days)
