About the department You will head the Compliance Team in Corporate Tax and become member of the Global Tax Management Group in Novo Nordisk. The job In a highly skilled environment, you will be responsible for the balance between addressing mandatory tax reporting requirements and focusing on value-added tax planning. Your main tasks will be ensuring compliance, tax forecasting, accounting for income taxes and preparation of tax returns. Further, you will prepare and review tax calculations, estimates and management reports and liaise with tax authorities as well as provide tax audit support for the group. You will manage and coordinate initiatives related to our Tax Strategy 2020. It’s of high importance that you proactively strengthen the tax compliance area in order to meet the growing demands and continuously raise the bar. You will have wide cross organisational contacts, stretching from senior management to local controllers in a diverse global environment. Your range of contacts will facilitate building a solid network beneficial to your professional and personal growth. Furthermore, you will obtain an in depth understanding of Novo Nordisk’s business. The key to success is in many ways defined by implementing the right processes and methods. It’s important that you have a good hands-on approach and are solution oriented. Qualifications You hold a relevant master’s degree within finance or economics with excellent results. The job requires strong accounting, analytical and tax optimisation skills combined with a structured, result-oriented approach. You have solid interpersonal and communication skills and you are able to deliver complex data in a structured and simple manner. You are a team player, take the initiative and have a high level of engagement. The right candidate has considerable experience and knowledge within taxation especially within tax accounting and reconciliations and you must be up to date with current legislation and regulations.
