Do you have a passion for working with tax issues on a global scale? CFO/Tax & Compliance/Global Tax You will join the Global Tax department which is part of Vestas’ Global Finance organization. The department proactively drives the Global Tax Strategy, Tax Risk & Compliance as well as Tax Reporting and Communication. Our objectives are to ensure timely and accurate tax returns, tax compliance and correct payment of taxes and reaching the milestones according to the Tax strategy. Responsibilities: As Director of Tax Operations & HQ you will have 3 direct reports and be responsible for the IFRS reporting and for highlighting tax risks and opportunities, including ensuring that proper preventive and corrective actions are taken. Furthermore, you will be responsible for all direct tax audits or other enquiries from tax authorities, global tax accounting, transfer pricing adjustments and tax in the annual accounts. Also, your responsibility is to design and implement an overall strategy for handling risk management, tax compliance and tax dispute resolution within the Group. Development and maintenance of legal framework, tax dispute reports and training sessions across the Group is also an important part of this position. Qualifications: Skills required: Master of Business Administration (HD-R, Cand.Merc.Aud., ACA or CPA) Several years of experience with tax at group level in an international company and/or in an accounting company In depth knowledge about tax reporting, tax risks and opportunities, tax audits, tax accounting and transfer pricing People management and training experience Flair for IT Ability to convert accounting knowledge into business value The ability to identify and involve business stakeholders Experience with SAP is an advantage Competencies: Excellent communication skills People management skills Hands-on approach Good analytical and systematical skills Good corporation skills Excellent English skills – both oral and written What we offer: We offer an exciting job with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring environment at the world’s leading wind turbine producer.
