Credit and Capital provides applications and services to optimise handling of our credit and capital related products and capital allocation in Nordea. We are currently looking for an experienced domain architect with strong communication skills, broad architecture experience and excellent driver skills. The position we offer As Domain Architect you are covering a whole/complete business and IT domain in Nordea across countries and channels. You are working in a top-down and business centric way focusing on commonality. This is a great opportunity from a career development aspect and the possibility to work with some of the best people pracitising Domain Architecture. We are looking for a person who will remain with us ensuring continuous improvement in this area for several years. In order to do this you build up a logical architecture vision and a common language shared by all stakeholders. You will use this to align with product owners and your Business CIO’s to provide a strategic view (and some predictability) on the backlogs for the agile teams in the domain. You wil also be driving alignment of architecture acros our sub domains with our group of domain architects, enabling us to continuously take steps towards a common target architecture. As domain architect in Credit and Capital, Transition and Architecture you: •Take an active part in developing high level business goals, requirements and Business Architecture together with Business Architects Drive the development and documentation of high level Application, Technology and Transition architecture with Business-, Domain-, Solution-, and Information Architects and involving a number of other stakeholders •Guide and review mapping of the domain target architecture to existing applications in the different countries •Support Product Owners in using the domain architecture for release and sprint planning •Guide and review physical Solution Design by heading architecture decision meetings in the Capital Efficiency IT Architecture Group •Take an active part in architecture networks •Support the Credit and Capital in idea maturation, portfolio planning, funding, cross domain coordination and communication tasks. Architecture and Transition is a part of Credit and Capital which again is part of IT Retail Banking and provides applications and services within the capital efficiency domain to support partners across Nordea. The department has several delivery factories that, using an agile way of working, develop solutions in close cooperation with Group Credit Risk and other partners in Retail Banking and other areas in Nordea. We are located in central Copenhagen where we have some of our business partners. We support business partners across the whole of Nordea, which means that you must expect some travel and have excellent English communication skills. The qualifications you need The domain has many stakeholders ranging from Developers, over Domain-, Solution Architects to Product Owners and Business Specialists. It is important that you have the ability to to find the right level of communication to these various stakeholders. You cover the full domain so it is important to work with architecture at abstract level but not afraid to go into details when needed. That said you should have an IT-foundation and an interest in technologies that will enable you to understand, guide and review the work of more technical architects. You are a skilled driver and can coordinate the architecture work as well as being a strong communicator and driver. You have a deeply rooted understanding of how and when to use different architect roles and how they should work together.
