We are looking for a motivated and competent Customs Expert for the Export Control & Customs team in Brande, Denmark. The Export Control & Customs department is overall responsible for compliance in regard to export controls and customs rules and regulations when importing and exporting goods and technology. We are involved in all steps from design, over selling and manufacturing through to the dispatch of the finished wind turbines. What are my responsibilities? As a Customs Expert you will be part of a highly motivated customs team, and you will to a great extent be working with the implementation of new and the improvement in the business of existing processes relating to Customs and international trade regulations. In addition, you will also have different administrative tasks, including: Implementing customs processes as well as conducting sample checks in the business and following up on these Developing processes for import and export of goods Planning and performing awareness training and training in implemented processes and customs regulations Following up on processes and documentation with regard to preferential country of origin and international trade agreements Maintaining and ensuring documentation of processes and to create management information What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a background as a customs or process consultant, an export assistant or similar and have preferably specialized in international trade and transport You have significant experience with EU customs regulations As a person you are forthcoming, positive and proactive, and you are good at multitasking and understand the importance of meeting deadlines You possess strong coordination and communication skills and are a dedicated team player with the ability to work independently You thrive in a dynamic environment, and you are open to changes Furthermore, you are an experienced user of Microsoft Office, and preferably of SAP, and you have excellent English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
