For our offshore installation sites across Europe, we are looking for a dedicated and strong EHS Advisor to be part of a dedicated EHS team, whose primary task is to ensure a consistently high standard within operational safety and also support in all matters related to workers’ health and environmental issues. You will ensure compliance with the relevant EHS rules and regulations, the project specific EHS plan and internal company procedures. A normal duty rotation will typically be 14 days on/14 days off the project. What are my responsibilities? • Support and assist the EHS Project Manager on-site • Implementing the site specific EHS plan and verify compliance • Coordinating and managing daily EHS assignments • Conduct site inductions and safety walks/inspections with relevant follow-up activities • Support the operational department in preparing risk assessments and work instructions • Plan and execute emergency drills and contribute to lessons learned • Report and investigate all accidents and incidents including implementation of corrective actions • Assist the Site Manager in ensuring site compliance with local legislation as well as Siemens procedures and policies • Monitoring of the EHS performances by all our subcontractors and ensuring they deliver a proper standard within practical safety as well as documentation (Risk Assessments etc.) What do I need to qualify for this job? • Relevant EHS related background; ideally from the offshore/marine industry or other relevant construction/production business, maybe as an experienced craftsman or other function within the wind power business • Experience within inspection, auditing, risk assessment and incident investigation • Analytical, structured and well organized with the ability to overlook complex problems • Good knowledge of MS Office and experienced IT user in general • Built-in authority in communication profile and the ability to halt work in case of any safety critical EHS matter and communicate this in a professional manner to the client on a project • Solid communication skills in English, both orally and in writing What else do I need to know?
