For our Blade production plant in Aalborg we are looking for an experienced and self-driven EHS Officer with reference to the local EHS Manager. What are my responsibilities? · Facilitating and conducting risk assessments. · Evaluating and supporting EHS related questions arising. · Reviewing and approving corrective actions and ensure they are implemented. · Communicating lessons learned from investigations and Safety Walks. · Lead investigation on accident and investigations. · Registration of incidents/accidents. · Participate in Audits. · Handle contact to Authorities. · Training of employees. · Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with legislation. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a relevant academic background and 3+ years of experience from a similar position, ideally from the wind turbine or construction industry. · You have a thorough knowledge of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. · You have a valid driving license. · Knowledge regarding technical safety will be an advantage but not a prerequisite. · As a person you are proactive with good analytical skills, and you have an open-minded approach to people and new ways of thinking. · You thrive in a multicultural and international environment and are capable of interacting professionally across all organizational levels. · Furthermore, you are a skilled communicator with excellent English skills both orally and in writing, and you are an experienced user of Microsoft Office. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
