Then you could be our new colleague for Local Manufacturing International Operation Projects within the SVP area Devices & Supply Chain Management. About the department You will be based in Devices & Supply Chain Management Business Support, but dedicated to work with Local Manufacturing International Operation Projects. Devices & Supply Chain Management (D&S) is representing one of the six senior management divisions within Product Supply (PS) and 1.700 employees in Denmark, Russia and Japan. D&S is responsible for devices and the supply chain management across PS. This includes bringing new devices from R&D into production and to launch. Our responsibility is to produce device components at a high quality and low cost, to manage the supply chain from sourcing of raw materials until distribution to affiliates. As a newly established entity, Local Manufacturing International Operation Projects ensures the design, building, staffing and ramp up of production facilities in several countries across the world. The position You will be responsible for EHS in the sites being established in Algeria and Iran. You will drive EHS in establishment of the sites, reaching from initial design, construction safety, developing working process, and setting up and later operating the EHS management system. When you are well into the projects, you will also become the primary point of contact to already establish international sites within Local Manufacturing International Operation Projects. The position requires strategic planning competences and the ability to execute by mobilising local EHS resources and thereby setting up the future local EHS organisations. You will also secure knowledge transfer from the global Novo Nordisk organisations to the future local organisations. You will work in close cooperation with project management, local management and EHS experts. You will be responsible for building up the local EHS organisation and transfer knowledge. In the beginning the majority of the work will take place from Denmark, where you will work out of Bagsværd, Denmark. As the sites develop 60-100 travel days per year is expected. It is a newly established position so you will take part in developing the role and it should be expected that the content can change. Qualifications You have significant knowledge and experience within Environment, Health & Safety, ideally in a production environment and about site construction. You have a fundamental desire to make a difference for EHS and like to inspire others. The key to success is your experience from working in an international environment and across cultures. You are experienced in managing a large number of different stakeholders and are able to cooperate with different organisational levels and different professions. You have a personal drive enabling you persistently to pursue your goals and achieve results. You also appreciate working independently. Another key to success is your ability to keep the overview and sometimes be able to deep dive on a subject. You have a structured approach, thrive by a change working day, like to take initiatives and are able to prioritise in a busy work day. You are able some times to negotiate for the right EHS solution, and you also know when it is time to make a compromise. In this position you like to travel and you are fluent in English.
