We are looking for an OHSAS 18001 Specialist for the EMEA Environment, Health and Safety department. You will be based at our new competency center in Vejle, Denmark. What are my responsibilities? As an EHS Specialist in OHSAS 18001, you will be a part of the EHS Standards and Procedures team ensuring a high level of quality in our management system and support to our Zero Harm culture. More specifically, your main responsibilities will cover: • Providing Health and Safety support to our business • Promoting and improving health and safety standards, processes and procedures related to OHSAS 18001 • Implementation and support of OSHAS 18001 related issues • Support to certification of new locations • Maintenance of our Integrated Management System • Assisting the Engineering team with EHS strategies, regulation and standards • Health and Safety support towards zero harm culture • Ensuring compliance with corporate policies, procedures and guidelines towards the management system and assisting locations in the implementation • Identifying Occupational Health and Safety requirements when entering new markets What do I need to qualify for this job? • You have an engineering or technical education combined with experience in project organization within the wind or construction industry • You have advanced knowledge of OHSAS 18001 and Health and Safety legislation • You are outgoing, decisive, change-oriented and proactive, and you possess a high degree of intercultural awareness Promoting and improving health and safety standards, processes and procedures related to OHSAS 18001 • You are open to new ways of thinking, and you have a result and quality oriented approach to your assignments • You also have excellent communication and English skills, both orally and in writing • You hold a valid driver’s license for EU In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
