Test & Tools has grown to become a very important business area in Vestas. The overall responsibility of Test & Tools is to develop production test equipment used globally throughout Vestas’ production sites. We develop test equipment for panels, nacelles generators, converters systems etc. For this position we seek an Electrical Engineer experienced in developing and designing Low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies. Vestas Test & Tools, Hardware & Automation Responsibilities: You will be joining a group of 13 people who work dedicated with developing test equipment for Vestas production sites. You will be part of our development projects, being responsible for the design of our hardware solutions. You will be involved in all stages of our projects, from early start until hand over to the internal customer. Your responsibilities will be: Specify and develop hardware for test equipment on both smaller upgrades and new large project Ensure that our design is based on correct dimensions and calculations on short circuits etc. Create circuit diagrams in Caddy++ Create final documentation and user manuals according to legislation Ensure correct documentation and Quality assurance of the test equipment Ensure that our equipment fulfills internal and external legislation, standards and guidelines Guide and instruct electricians during construction of the equipment Qualifications: We expect that you hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering - preferably as Marine Engineer or Electrical Engineer, with relevant work experience. Furthermore: You are experienced in designing electrical equipment (Voltage range 200 - 1000 V) Calculating on short circuit protection, Protection against indirect contact etc. is well known to you You are experienced in creating electrical circuit diagrams in Cad programs You have in-depth knowledge to relevant standards and legislation. Especially EN61439-1 and EN60204-1 You are experienced in theoretical as well as hands on working with electrical systems You can see through highly complex systems and combine hydraulic, and electrical systems Knowledge to UL 508A will be an advantage Competencies: You characterize yourself as: Ambitious in regards to your career Self driven and Innovative Flexible, dedicated and ready to go the extra mile An outgoing person with good communication skills Quality conscious and systematic You can work on your own, but at the same time you are a team player, able to work cross functional and across different cultures A person who thrives with changes You master English and Danish fluently, both written and spoken.
