Combining project management with design of electrical power generation and distribution systems As our new electrical engineer you will be responsible for technical design in accordance with our contracts and international standards. A large portion of our projects are multidiscipline and will give you the opportunity to work closely together with instrumentation, telecom, process, safety, piping, mechanical, structural and maintenance engineers. Trough out our work on the projects we maintain a continuous dialogue with our clients. Your tasks will include to: Participate in studies where the overall electrical power generation and distribution systems are specified Participate in upgrade projects where electrical power systems are designed to a detailed level e.g. motor starters, frequency converters, trace heating, lighting and measurements Perform electrical calculations of load flow, short circuit calculation, dynamic stability and harmonic analyses Act as a Project Manager of electrical projects, which include estimation and control of cost, time and resources Be a mentor for your younger colleagues in the department Participate in developing new procedures and guidelines within the disciplines You may expect to travel up to 2-4 times a year offshore, typically shorter periods of 2-3 days at a time. To be a success in this position, we image that you have: A Bachelor or Master degree in either Electrical engineering, Control design, Electronics, Electro and Energy technology, or Marine engineer/Electro technician with a background as electrician Min. 4-6 years of relevant experience from one of following areas: automation, distributed control systems, instrumentation, metering or safety systems Good communication skills in English is a must and Danish is an advantage Worked on a daily basis with Microsoft office and have knowledge of electrical simulation tools such as Paladin Designbase and ETAP It is a great advantage if you have also participated in international, oil and gas projects.
